I'm Luis and I love taking photos of concerts, products and portraits. Simply capturing life as it happens is what excites me and specially when it's something that I don't really have control over.
Capturing those moments on film just makes them a lot more special though I do shoot digital as well. Using my lovely Kiev 88CM medium format camera, the Nikon FM10 and the Nikon D60 allows me to capture those moments.
I've been taking photos for about 4 years now and, though I'm self taught, I strive to get the best photo in camera and avoid using any photo manipulation software to "fix it later" or modify any of my photos so that photos look real.
I live with my wife in Costa Rica and she's usually my assistant traveling with me around the country and to a lot of events.
Besides photography, as I don't work primarily in that area, I work in the IT field as a technical consultant for a big international company.
I'm a film and digital photographer living in Costa Rica. I mostly photograph events, such as concerts, and lifestyle.
